NEW WORK SERVED UP AT LOCAL BISTRO

Nelson sweet-art Meghan Hildebrand is heading home to dish up her latest paintings on the walls of Bibo Wine Bar . Her recent work plays on quilts and the stories they evoke.

Quilting offers a connection to local histories and the role women have played in activism, art and society.  Scraps and rags are mended into memories.

Hildebrand’s artwork has gained attention across the country, most recently at a solo exhibition at Hollander York Gallery in Toronto.
